    • Has successfully completed WOW’s Parent & Tot program
    • Students will work more independently gaining confidence in the water.
    • Underwater travel to parent with comfort 
    • Submerging and safety sequences will be practiced with teacher guidance.

    • Has successfully completed Wow’s GoldFish and/or Otter class
    • Works independently with an instructor in a group.
    • Comfortable with blowing bubbles with face in the water

    • Can sit, listen and wait on all platforms 
    • Completely separated from parent

  • Class Description

    • Child is 2 or 3 years of age
    • Has successfully completed WOW Tot program
    • Has totally separated from parent
    • Can sit listen and wait on all platforms
    • With mirror on lap blows bubbles (5-10 seconds)
    • Initiates submerging underwater comfortably (5-10 seconds)
    • Travel comfortably under water instructor or foundation
    • Maintain a quiet back pencil shape with assistance
    • Independently enters and exits the water from a platform

    • The student usually swims with a flotation device and is not yet comfortable 
    • Student will be learning and becoming comfortable with breathing skills and the water.

    • Child is 4 to 5 years old
    • Has successfully completed WOW’S Super Tot or Angel Fish program 
    • Or have been evaluated and recommended for this level 
    • Initiates submerging consistently and comfortably
    • Can enter and exit the water independently
    • Quietly maintains a quiet back pencil shape with assistance
    • Initiates underwater travel to and from a foundation

  • Class Description

    • Child is 4 to 6  years of age
    • Has successfully completed WOW’s Star Fish program
    • Student can do a safety jump with no assistance. 
    • Student  is comfortable in deep water without using flotation devices 
    • Student can maintain a comfortable back float (no assistance)
    • Student is comfortable front float in buoyancy postures (no assistance)

  • Class Description

    • Child is 4 to 6 years of age
    • Has successfully completed WOW’s Dolphin program
    • Can swim with taking a breath (no assitance)
    • X, Y, Pencil back body shapes (no assistance)
    • Back-set off platform with travel, comfortable swimming on back (buoyancy/balance), with no assistance 5-10 feet.

    • Has completed the WOW beginner program
    • Has been evaluated and recommended by a WOW instructor

    • This level is all about growing Swimplicity’s four foundations: Breathing, balance, travel, and safety.
    • Changing directions, engaging core body movement vs. second class leverage systems is critical.
    • Backstroke and Freestyle beginnings are introduced.

Kids in the Fast Lane (KFL)

(Ages 6 years old and up)

  • Class Description

    • Has successfully completed WOW’S Level 2 program or been evaluated/recommended by a WOW instructor.
    • Backstroke and Freestyle with proper balance, breathing and timing.
    • Breaststroke and butterfly rhythms will continue to be developed focusing on aquatic line, balance, breathing and timing.
    • Enhancing skills and tasks in Freestyle and Backstroke while increasing distance traveled.

(Ages 6 years old and up)

  • Class Description

    • Has successfully completed WOW’S KFL program or been evaluated/recommended by a WOW instructor.
    • In Junior Olympian Backstroke, Freestyle, and Breaststroke will continue technique progressions while building endurance.
    • Butterfly will develop through rhythmic breakdowns such as breathing, timing and shape enhancements.
    • Backstroke, Freestyle and Breaststroke performance to include rhythm, breathing, timing, and technique.

(Ages 7 years old and up)

  • Class Description

    • Has successfully completed WOW’S Junior Olympian program or been evaluated/recommended by a WOW Instructor.
    • Can perform all four strokes with proper rhythms in all aspects of stroke development.
    • All the four strokes advancements including specific details of competition.
    • Backstroke, Freestyle, Breaststroke, and Butterfly are developed and understood including rhythms of breathing, timing, technique, and stamina.
    • Competitive stroke development
    • Competition starts, finishes, and turns are integrated into strokes.

Our Pre-Swim Team program is for our upper level students who love the water, and/or interested in swimming on swim teams.

  • Class Description

    • Our Upper Level students will be swimming and training twice a week.
    • Students will be preparing for competitive swim teams. 
    • Increasing their endurance, preparing for races with techniques and specific training to take their swimming to a competitive level.

  • Class Description

    A program designed for teens who are not comfortable in the water and/or afraid of the deep end. Student have breathing issues and wish to learn how to swim.


    • Student is not comfortable in the water
    • Student is not comfortable with breathing techniques
    • Student is not comfortable with back floats
    • Students will learn the Swimplicy foundations in comfort in breathing, buoyancy, balance, swim shapes, postures and safety. Students will be learning the beginnings of freestyle, Back, Elementary back, rolling over.
    • Class Time: 45 minutes / Teacher & Class Ratio: 1:6 / Monthly Tuition $155

  • Class Description

    Bring your swim to the next level by combining advanced breathing applications, body postures, alignment, and stroke techniques.


    • Student completed Teen Course 1 and/or meets qualifications required for Teen Course 2Student is comfortable in the deep waterStudent is comfortable with swimming and will be working on stroke techniques in Freestyle, backstroke, Elementary Backstroke, and the beginnings of Breaststroke and dolphin swim.
    • Enhancing your relationship with water will increase swimming distance, duration, and rhythm’s allowing you to prepare for, scuba diving, open water swim, lifeguard certification preparation, or increasing your lap swim

    • Student Completed Teen Course 2 and/or KFLStudent has been recommended by a WOW Instructor.Student can swim Freestyle and Backstroke Backstroke (2 lengths in comfort).
    • Student can demonstrate the beginnings of breaststroke

Shallow Water Lifeguard Course: $250

  • Class Description

    Junior Lifeguard Course (combined with a CPR and First Aid certification) this course includes both fitness (in-water swim training) and classroom training.  It is an effective transition from upper-level swimming courses to the American Red Cross Lifeguard program, challenging participants to stay involved with aquatics.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are scheduled on an individual basis. If you are a first time swimmer, an individual with special needs or looking to improve your stroke a private or semi-private lesson can be scheduled. 


Please call (914) 233- 0747 and speak with a Wings Over Water representative to schedule your day and time with your Certified WOW Teacher. 

Monthly Tuition

(Based on 4 lessons per month)

1 on 1 Private: $350

2 on 1 Semi-private: $240 per student

3 on 1 Small group private: $180 per student

  • Private lessons are paid in full at the time of scheduling.
  • A 24-hour notice is required to cancel a private lesson.
  • If you fail to call and cancel your lesson within  24-hours, it cannot be rescheduled.
  • If you miss two or more private lessons a doctor's note is required to reschedule.
  • Please arrive early to insure your full private lesson time.
